Q. Can you tell me a funny story and a scary story of your time in the army?

” During training, we used to sneak out and watch films in the night. When we’d return our Squad Commander would always be standing near the gate with a 5 foot wooden stick. Rest you can only imagine, say after that our main problem was just trying to walk. He would wake us up at 3 am in the morning and make us sweep and mop the entire headquarters.
But we still sneaked out to see movies regardless of the punishment. He was a good man. That’s how we became strong.”

“When I was in Sikkim, there was a massive earthquake. lights were gone, network was down, buildings were falling. It was very scary, but we still didn’t worry about ourselves, we jumped into action and tried to save civilians who needed us the most. People came on the streets, we built tents for them gave them supplies. We didn’t know where our own comrades were, but our single point aim was to save as many people as possible. That was one of the toughest experiences I’ve had”
