” I wasn’t from a defence background. When I got married I was very nervous. I didn’t know if I would fit in the crowd. But, it was completely different. Officers of our unit never let me feel out of place. It felt like family. All senior women in our unit groomed me and made me feel at home. At lot of what I learnt from them, I passed on to new families.
Any particular thing you would like to share that you learnt from them?
Impeccable planning for dinner for guests, going to the minutest of details in order to give the guests a five star feeling. The food was cooked with such timing that it was the freshest at the table. Our spoons and forks were kept at an exact angle. ”
